Expedia introduces a cool new feature - price drop insurance

The following snapshot was taken from an itinerary for 2 passengers totaling just below $1500. For just $11 they would guarantee the difference of the price if the price drops up until the flight.

Doesn't Orbitz offer this for free?

ETA: Nevermind, apparently they phased it out in 2012.
