40% Bonus for MR transfered to Ba avios (Offer Expired)

Right after the 1:1 ratio which was just this week now with a 40% transfer bonus from MR to ba/iberia avios , I guess the avios were not being touched during these few months, while the transfer ratio was horrible, now with a slight comeback.

40% bonus good until 9/17/17

The US Amex Membership Rewards program is offering a 40% bonus when you transfer points to British Airways Executive Club or Iberia Plus by November 15, 2018.

I'm trying to determine if this is more useful than the 25% bonus to B6. any thoughts?

With Citi and Chase at 1:1 with B6, I don't think an Amex equivalent labeled as a promo is anything to write home about.
1:1.4 Avios is a generous bonus considering the normal bonus was just 20% previously IIRC.
Obviously depending on the usage you have for it but this bonus can definitely be useful, AAMOF I'm considering transferring some for stock despite not being short on BA (by comparison to my other accounts.)
