My 2nd Android app
« on: July 21, 2017, 06:29:17 AM »
Hi to all,

This new app is really only a shortcut to the "change keyboard settings". (So really lightweight)

https://tinyurl.com/y7grg3n3

Google play store is so tough, that unless you have x amounts of downloads you don't appear in their search results.
And getting good ratings promotes the ranks = many more downloads from random people.

So please, if you could install this tiny program, give a good rating, and uninstall in longer than a month, otherwise the rating and ranking drops. (Negative ratings always remain...)

What it does:
For people using multiple keyboards (not one keyboard that allows changing the layout/language), one must go quite deep into settings just to switch.
(There is a Widget as well)
That's a crazy task for someone needing to switch often. My app offers the solution.

Thank you so very much!

Done.
Memories last forever, make them while you can.

You change language on the same keyboard, or you switch between 2 totally different keyboards?
How do you do it?
Maybe a newer operating system than mine has a built in function for that?

I'd very much appreciate a download + rating.
Thank you!

I don't mind installing to help out, but whenever the keyboard is active, an android system notification is added when you swipe down from the tray. Tap it, and it brings up a keyboard selector. In all versions of android I've used for the last number of years.

Interesting, I never saw it, where is the option to have that?
(In my case I have already quite a list in the tray, so not sure I'll add, but good to know).

Please download and rate, if possible.
Thank you !

I downloaded, but I fail to see the use for this. What am I missing?

Where do I put your app? On android, when you're typing, change keyboard is in your notification bar. This app would mean me going to find the homepage the widget is on, or the app drawer. And if it's changing a language, that's as simple as swyping the keyboard in SwiftKey.

I checked about ten peoples phones (not in the USA) and no one had this change keyboard in the notification.
As I wrote, maybe newer versions have it included.
Swiping the keyboard is changing something within the keyboard itself, not changing the actual keyboard.
Now if you'd like to leave a 5* rating, I'd appreciate it a lot.

My Moto Play G4 has the option to change keyboards in the notification bar whenever the keyboard is active. My Droid mini did too.

Gboard offers this option by long press on spacebar.

Maybe it's the USA versions of OS that have it.
No idea.

See attached. It's always come native for me, never activated.

App Installed.

It's on stock Android and OEMs who don't mess around with it too much. So Motorola, HTC will have that option. LG and Samsung, well if you bought it, live with it :)
