I applied months ago, and was declined. Now, I got a letter that it may have been declined in error, and I am invited to reapply. Would it be a new pull? Any thoughts about this? Thanks.

According to a post on Reddit (https://www.reddit.com/r/churning/comments/5uoky8/a_scientific_controlled_experiment_data_point_of/) it's now hard (impossible?) to get autoapproved for a Bofa card if you already have 4 or more with them. Does this sound true / match your recent experience?

Also, is there any danger in applying for 3 Alaska cards (+1 Merril) on the same 1-2days, other than the apps being flagged as duplicates and therefore having to call recon? I'd like to at least get 1 Merril + 1 Alaska (preferably 2 Alaska), but I don't want to risk anything.

only danger i can think of is if ur using a note 7

Are you able to churn Alaska or must you wait several years between getting bonuses/cancelling cards?
Can I get approved for multiple cards or should I apply for one business and one consumer (and is that one or two pulls?)

Still churnable for some. I've had success going every 91 days so that any apps clear out of the system. If you have lots of credit with bofa its alsalso helped some when lowering their credit limits.

It'll be two pulls.

If approved with $2,500 CL (the Platinum Plus variety), will I still get the bonus? Or i need to transfer 2.5K more for a total of 5K CL? Will that 'activate' the bonus offer?

you will need to transfer 2500 and that should activate the bonus.

Ok so haven't read up on this thread recently or the Flyertalk one, but is consensus now that if you have 1 Alaska card open, you won't get another, or can that still be bypassed if you get a rep who approves it. DW got 2 BOA cards 3+ months ago (Alaska and Amtrak), and today applied over phone and was approved for Merrill+. Figured might as well go for another Alaska, but then noticed a couple comments on Flyertalk about them not approving it if you have 1 open. Her account went to pending, didn't have her call yet. Any recent data points on here? Saw comments at beginning of March.

New offer available today: Companion fare for only taxes and fees instead of the normal $99. I couldnt find a link that had the $100 statement credit plus the $0 companion fare.
