It's definitely a nice offer, turns the card into an actual viable option for adding to an AOR while the 25k was not. I'd like to see some DP's about whether getting multiple cards approved at the same time is doable or not before I decide whether or not to pull the trigger though.

Probably none, they're all store cards, I was reffering to multiple CX cards.

this actually is a good offer. maybe great for U.S. expats in HK so it becomes another 1.5 miles/$1 for everyday spend, which is pretty good for asia miles. but buying cx using Prestige or Premier at 3x travel then transfer to asia miles would still be better.

so if nothing else, it's like buying 50k asia miles for $95, which is a great deal if you can make use.

The problem is that 50k isn't a great number for redemptions, the best uses require more than that.

Of course. But no cards in the $95 annual fee space offer sign up bonus >50k. The assumption is that this can help you build up existing balance, OR use it to kick start your Asia mile balance. Also since MR, TY (with 20% bonus currently) and SPG are all transfer partners, it's not hard to get a high balance in your account quickly, if you have an intended use in mind.

tried getting a 2nd one 2 weeks after the first and was declined cuz my "previous application was approved". nt worth recon imo, their cs is horrible with wait times. may be possible to get another one after waiting 30 days or so.
