Iphones in Israel

I hope this is the right place for posting this... A friend mentioned to me when I told him I was coming to visit in israel, & how much the ticket cost me, that "they say" I could take a chunk out of that by bringing in IPhones, & selling them there. Is this true, & how much can one expect to clear on each one?

from my info they start at 4500 nis and upward, depending on the gb.

note, only bring in the newest 3.5G models; make sure you know whether locked ones are acceptable.

If unlocked, I can probably get you someone to buy it in Yerusholayim.

If you really are a yeshiva bachur, then you put the box in your luggage, and while passing customs you put it in your pocket, as if its your regular phone.
