« on: August 29, 2017, 01:54:13 PM »
A friend is thinking of opening a small community car sharing like zipcar does anyone have any leads re: technology?  Would it be feasible/economical for a really small fleet?

How small are you aiming for, you have to have enough to serve your clientele (however large that will be)

Can always start small (2-3 cars) and add based on need, question is what the technology cost is?

I would assume cheapest would be to sort of create some gadget that connects to the car lock/unlock and have RFID or NFC Fobs to open question is how to keep track of the rentals
