You can get an Electra for 1000 shekels.
Take into account that a lower energy rated   fridge/freezer can easily cost 4 times the amount in electricity costs and will negate any savings in under a year.

yeah thanks, i was looking for an electra and trying to get it for a 1000 but I could only find a Jetpoint for a 1000. Any ideas where I can buy one ( without having to haggle) ?

Isn't jetpoint part of Electra?
Either way Bnei Hayeshivas has one for 1000 with a free standing fan thrown in.
