Not sure.  They make it so complicated.  " A maximum of 79,999 Starpoints®may be converted in a single Conversion. " so you would have to do multiple conversions within the period but then it says "For every 100,000 AAdvantage® miles a Member receives from Conversions during the Program Period, the Member will receive an additional 10,000 AAdvantage® miles."  you need to be a mathematician to figure this one out.

And what exactly are you going to do with these miles? Award  availability stinks.
Don't know why they changed the whole system, they had amazing availiblty not long ago and made ba the best possible choice for short haul flights.
  But it seems they will pull people in with the nice transfer ratio as spg is already at a 25% bonus for increasments of 20k so adding another 20 % bonus makes some decent transfer rates.
 Time will tell with what will be of aa.
