If you hold them, you could change the names?

Perhaps he can release the hold when ready to book, then quickly grab again.

So it goes back instantly?

Yeh it's 1 big conspiracy. Sarcasm.
Folks paid Jewish guy $$ ..JetBlue emailed parents receipt for $99 etc. Don't feel like typing full details so enjoy.

I got to the guy thru WhatsApp.
Again it doesn't make sense, so I understand why you aren't providing details. I can't buy a ticket and then change the name on it. The Jewish guy would have had to know your parent's name in advance of them approaching him to buy the ticket so he could have bought the tickets in their name. That's impressive foresight to say the least.

The only other alternative is that you and your parents didn't have the sense to spend 30 seconds on one of 30 different web sites to see that you could buy a ticket directly for $99 and instead you went to a Jewish guy who listened to what you needed, went to one of those 30 different sites himself, bought the ticket in their names for $99, and then charged your parents a multiple of that. If that's the case then you can just call it an ignorance tax and you deserved to pay it!
