I searched and do not find anything on this but I’ve heard from a couple people that this really work. Does anyone know which cards or companies it works with and if I was denied for a card would I be able to still get the card by trying this option?

That is true but have you ever gotten a credit by only transferring credit and even having your credit pulled

If you're referring to having a card approved by shifting credit from another card, yes.

Is it still possible for me to shift credit to get approved for a card if I already sent in an application online? Does recon allow that?

I just got approved for a Chase Card but they needed to move around credit. When I asked for them to move from my Marriott they told me that they couldn't have a credit limit below a certain amount or I would lose the benefits of the card. Has anyone ever heard of this. I don't get how they could take away benefits if I'm paying an annual fee.

I had that a while ago with my Sapphire Preferred, and when I asked for more info they told me that if the CL goes under $5k then it's no longer a Visa Signature card, and loses those benefits. I asked what benefits and the lady didn't know, but AFAIK nothing changed after I moved the credit over.
Workflowy. You won't know what you're missing until you try it.

That's interesting because they lowered the csp and not Marriott.
