fender bender rental car no insurance
« on: September 24, 2017, 01:49:57 PM »
Hey, I posted about this before but this is really melting down.

I slightly banged a terminex truck on the freeway in California.no visible damage, slight scrape. The guy took my info and declined to call the police, he was a douche and wouldn't shake my hand after, I took pics of the truck.

I got a 700$ bill from rental car company for my cars damage, amex paid, used my platinum business.

Then I got a 3k bill from their processor, claiming they needed to replace the decal, the whole bumper blah blah blah.

Any way I denied the validity of the claim and as per ddf advice I told them to contact the rental car company that their car must be insured. Someone then representing the car rental companies contacted me about the claim asking what happened etc I told him.

Now I got a collection letter from a Florida collection agency demanding I pay up or they will have my drivers license revoked?!?  What the..

What do I do?

Anyone?
You can have them contact your Personal Insurance Company
But either way they can't prove that you owe it and that the damage was caused by you.
Contact them.
