A friend of mine in Denver, just did something similar here in Colorado and ended up getting the car for about 12k and totally loves it...it's a crazy good deal.

Anyone ever do a 350+ mile trip in one of these? Seems like I would have to stop every 2 hours or so for 30+ minutes each (assuming quick-charge available and no line).

This one is completely electric.  It's not for travels really but basically your daily commute and then you go back home and plug it in at night.
