Applied for a 18 year old who the only credit he has is a 6 months of amex au...they are claimimg they dont see it on credit report...anything to do?
For starters you can try to get an approval despite the AU.
and I wonder if you can somehow convince them that the AU does exist, doubtful.
I'll tell you later

You always want a senior rep, and your goal is to show that you have been responsible for payments for the last 6 months, how to do that in this situation is where it gets tricky

Chase won't give a card to someone who has never been a primary holder. Amex and Barclays will. Get one of those first, then try Chase in 3-6 months.

Should be able to reopen within 30 days without a problem.

is it better to reopen in order to move credit, or will they approve based on credit that i had 2 weeks ago?

also, will i be hit w AF when i reopen (the fee fell off as it was closed w in 30 of posting 2nd year)?

+1 I've helped people get approved for chase cards without any cards of their own.
