To fax in verification documents:
#1: 888-643-9624
#2: 888-643-9628
#3: 201-328-3289 (according to a rep from this dept, it's quicker than the other listed numbers)

Chase CS #: 1-800-432-3117

To know whether your application is pending or declined:
Call CS 1-888-338-2586 or 1-800-432-3117 and press # or 1. (If it's asking for your full 16 digits account number, it's 1. If it's asking for only your last 4 digits, it's #)
Press 3, then 1, then key in your SSN.

It's pending.

It's been declined.

Business cards application status: call 800-453-9719.

7-10 day message on the business application line does not mean a denial.

No matter what the status of your app is or what the page said after you hit submit or what Chase emailed you, etc... CALL TODAY! Any "pending" issues can either be addressed once you get your letter in the mail in 2 weeks, or you can JUST CALL TODAY!
And if at first you don't succeed HUCA, HUCA, HUCA etc. If they tell you there's a max of 2 cards per 30 days, HUCA!
PS: If the reason you were declined on a 5/24 card is 5/24, and you are indeed 5/24, YOU WILL NOT GET APPROVED.

Bump.
I don't think there is a real excuse for lack of history. It is what it is. Try and sell them on some other positive you have for the company.

2 months ago when the Ink offers went up to 60K, Chase biz recon was a nightmare. I haven't applied for any since then and was just curious if things have stayed the same, gotten even worse (is Chase consumer recon bad now too?) or possibly better (yeah right)?

In my experience they became tougher. They kept on telling me that if I had nothing to add to what I told the previous rep than we are done.

didnt u say u have 7K limit on ur united? if so, move 5K to saphire and leave 2k on united
I believe the United needs a minimum balance of 5k as it too is a signature card.

You only need a $5000 CL to get approved for it, once you have the card there's no minimum.

I personally own a United Visa Signature card with a CL less than 2k ( don't remember the exact amount)
I try my best :-\

Interesting, because I tried shifting some of my UMPE to approve a sapphire and they wouldn't hear of it because my cl would be under 5k.

FYI for the forum:  Just did Chase 3BM for: 1.  70k Marriott personal 2. IHG  3. Freedom.  Called and found out 1 was approved for 1, 2 pending and they had the 7-10 days msg.  Called Recon immediately, told me the IHG was app'd for $23k credit line.  asked for recon, said only would approve 2.  Nice CSR approved instantly the Marriott fro $17 credit line.  CSR said she could send up a request for Freedom approval and it would take about 24 hrs but she said 2 card approval was usu limit.  i'll wait on it for next go round.  ;D

did a 3bm got pending on all 3. was 1st approved for the BA called and got approved for the freedom but they say they can't approve the Sapphire even with shifting $5000 credit line. HUCA'd 5 times and got the same response: they will not approve 3 cards within 30 days :( tied SM, hoping for the best.
