#2: 888-643-9628

Call CS 1-888-338-2586 or 1-800-432-3117 and press # or 1. (If it's asking for your full 16 digits account number, it's 1. If it's asking for only your last 4 digits, it's #)

It's pending.

This application is being reviewed. You will be notified in writing, within 7 to 10 business days, of our decision
It's been declined.

Business cards application status: call 800-453-9719.

7-10 day message on the business application line does not mean a denial.

No matter what the status of your app is or what the page said after you hit submit or what Chase emailed you, etc... CALL TODAY! Any "pending" issues can either be addressed once you get your letter in the mail in 2 weeks, or you can JUST CALL TODAY!
And if at first you don't succeed HUCA, HUCA, HUCA etc. If they tell you there's a max of 2 cards per 30 days, HUCA!
PS: If the reason you were declined on a 5/24 card is 5/24, and you are indeed 5/24, YOU WILL NOT GET APPROVED.

Hope this is the right place for this...

Applied for two cards Jan. 21 got approved. 3rd card was declined. FINALLY successful HUCA today. So the question is: Is the date of opening backdated to the original date of the app submit date, OR to today when they approved and opened?
Did you confirm It wasn't a new pull? You got approved cuz of 30 days

I called the 1st recon line this time (1st one in wiki). Is it normal for them to say "give us up to 2 weeks to give you an answer?" The rep was definitely new and threw in that I could call back in 24-48 hours to possibly get an answer, she said they "like to under promise and over deliver." This is the 1st time I did not receive a yes or no when calling recon that's why I'm asking here if it's normal response... or what it means exactly.
This might be what ur looking for:
I just did recon on a UA card which is 28 days old after 2 mins on hold the rep comes back and says there is nothing he can do now because they're in middle of the reviewing process! & they'll reach out to me within 48 hours.
Anybody does this make sense?
I have to say it was pretty weird to me.

Yes, it was within 30 days and I asked if it was a new pull and rep said, 'no i would have to tell you if it was' (so i'm hoping he was truthful in that.

No my question is regarding date of account opening on credit report--will it be the day i was approved, or is it dated to the application?

Afaik there is no date on which it says when the account was opened (Besides for which month) they just randomly report on any given day.
why don't you check by yourself? You were denied credit so request ur free report https://www.experian.com/consumer/cac/InvalidateSession.do?code=DISPUTE

The thing is, she was able to update my information and submit another reconsideration request but could not give me an answer at the time. Technically, she was able to do something in their system just couldn't provide me with approved/declined answer. Definitely strange.

I just called to reconsider my wifes card and they told me it needs to go thru a verification process that takes 24-48 hr.
What does that mean?

What was the outcome?
First this:
Another rep just saud the same thing, that the review is being handled by a different department of the lending services which isn't customer facing!
Interesting??
Should I fear AA????
That 2nd rep said that it could take up to a week! Then they'll contact me either via denial letter or with a welcome packet and new card.
Yesterday I logged into my account and a new account poped up, I was approved!
A little more then a week later.

Mine got approved yesterday after 3rd HUCA. This was after the strange 24-48 hrs comment by the rep on the 1st recon # in wiki. She told me to call the 2nd # on the wiki to get status when I call back. Did that and got reconsidered. Success.

Just applied for my 1st ink card. When should I call recon?
Is there any reason to wait?
Has anyone had the experience of chase approving their app after giving them the pending decision?

Thanks

Yes. Alot of people (including myself) have had success getting apps approved (especially Ink apps) by just letting them play themselves out for a week and not calling recon and having them quiz you for 30 minutes.

Thanks that might be smart. I didnt have the greatest experience the last time I tried for a chase business card.
