Some say because of the shock but something seems very off there

What seems off? I thought he seemed very real.

What seems off? I thought he seemed very real.

seems he's justifying some of his brother's behavior and other craziness, and trying to keep the rest of them clean. Also answering why they have the money. Seems defensive, and explaining why his brother's private behavior is in "normal" range. Someone that deeply into guns and shooting would have a brother who would know more about it. Gambling "successfully for 20+ years" he was aware of. Shooting and guns he knows nothing about. Seems like he's hiding other things.

Why was he obsessing over the money and the 100k? As if that THE big story?

Why was he obsessing over the money and the 100k? As if that THE big story?

Because the media was asking him if it was suspicious and he legitimately was taken aback by the question. The media wanted it to be a "clue," and he was like, "Puhleeze. A $100k foreign wire is no big deal. Stop playing Jason Bourne over here."

It would be like if some reporters asked you, "Isn't it highly unusual and suspicious activity that you applied for over FIFTY credit cards in one year?!" and you would be like, "Oh my goodness, you guys are so out of your element. No!" And then they would hock you again, "But fifty?!" and you would be like, "I bet you guys carry a balance, don't you?"

Anyway, this guy is genuine.

Lets also remember he just lost a brother not a mass murder as we know him.

Did you catch that part where he says that what is so terrifying is that if this can happen with Steve then it can happen to anybody?

....
....
Anyway, this guy is genuine.

I think that he genuinely knows that his private, secretive brother may have been up to other things besides gambling. He know that his mother had a hard time raising them, he calls himself and his siblings "bad kids", and his brother got him his house, his easy life, and his early retirement, so he's definitely going to be biased and/or feel that he owes it to his brother to paint him as more caring and kind to people. He would have to be aware of his temper and his oddness, yet he's intentionally glossing over it. His brother would have to see a piece or potential of these:

1) He would verbally lash out at his girlfriend in public: http://nypost.com/2017/10/03/vegas-killer-often-berated-his-girlfriend-in-starbucks-worker/

2) Hired $7500/night ladies to act out aggressive and violent rape scenes and fantasies: http://nypost.com/2017/10/08/vegas-gunman-liked-violent-rape-fantasies-prostitute-says/

He got that from Bernie Sanders, allegedly a presidential candidate

if that was the case, then I think that he would keep his comments straight and to the point. Too much is about himself/his own 'burned-out' life and covering up, excusing, and praising his brother.

Maybe we can not pre-determine how exactly people need to react to the most extreme emotional circumstances possible, and what they should and should not talk about, and for how long?

And while we're at it, what was his net worth compared to Trump's?
I'm an optimist; but only because life isn't going to give me any other good choices.

According to the brother he pocketed $2mm when they sold the real estate business. Hard to tell just how much more from gambling. And millions of airline miles
