I think that he genuinely knows that his private, secretive brother may have been up to other things besides gambling. He know that his mother had a hard time raising them, he calls himself and his siblings "bad kids", and his brother got him his house, his easy life, and his early retirement, so he's definitely going to be biased and/or feel that he owes it to his brother to paint him as more caring and kind to people. He would have to be aware of his temper and his oddness, yet he's intentionally glossing over it. His brother would have to see a piece or potential of these:

1) He would verbally lash out at his girlfriend in public: http://nypost.com/2017/10/03/vegas-killer-often-berated-his-girlfriend-in-starbucks-worker/

2) Hired $7500/night ladies to act out aggressive and violent rape scenes and fantasies: http://nypost.com/2017/10/08/vegas-gunman-liked-violent-rape-fantasies-prostitute-says/

Put almost anyone under a microscope and you'll find equally meaningless bad habits/traits.

According to the brother he pocketed $2mm when they sold the real estate business. Hard to tell just how much more from gambling. And millions of airline miles
Phss the way he was carrying on it sounded like 50MM+

The brother said he could gamble millions a day.

And the level that the casinos were comping him on seems to be consistent with that.

I don't think that proves much because it sounds like he had a system in place to give himself a small edge.
I think of it like someone MS'ing millions which obviously does not prove they have millions of dollars to blow.

What's this hogwash about him beating the house?? I don't buy it for a second. How big of a genious was he? These casinos invest big time into algorithms etc. It's simply impossible.

This whole gambling as a job shtick is an absolute fallacy. One of the weirdest parts of the story.

If anything, if true, now there is a motive to for the vicious casinos to eliminate him...!

Spot on. Video poker like single deck blackjack can be played with odds in your favor.

It is possible and has been documented many times.

One with higher than 9/6 payoffs is Double Bonus Poker. Its full-pay version pays 10-for-1 on full houses and 7-for-1 on flushes as well as 5-for-1 on straights instead of the 4-for-1 you get on most games. With expert play 10/7/5 Double Bonus returns 100.2%.

So the house is betting that 99% are not expert players? I would hear such a thing, but then they are allowing guys like this run a million through a night... Hard to believe.

I know it is hard to believe but it is true. He makes one mistake an hour and his .2% edge is gone. It is also no fun. I used to card count in my younger days and I can tell you it was a job.
