It's not like he just picked up a gun one day and went out and shot a bunch of people. This was obviously planned over time.

Was his behavior leading up to this consistent with that of someone who "just snapped?" (if there is such a thing)

Does someone who just snaps (or whatever you want to call it) have to act like a crazy person? They can't plan things logically?

I hate to say it but what this guy pulled off is so simple to do.

My point was the time involved, not the ability of someone who snapped to pull it off.

Essentially I was asking if it makes sense that nobody around him noticed that he snapped (or whatever you want to call it.) Or maybe there were signs that people picked up on in hindsight?

We know everything about him. They have the whole timeline now. We just don't know why.

Maybe it is like many things in life. We don't pickup on the signs until it is to late.

My assumption is since the shooting had stopped already anyways they were waiting for SWAT (high risk entry team) to get there. I'm not sure why that took so long though.
