The mag extends far past the front hand piece in this one.
Relative to the shooters gun it is much longer.
Nah I think it's just a different angle, + the shooter's barrel is much longer and the front grip is much farther from the mag.

I think that's a fair assumption.
So then the question becomes why did he stop? I would have to guess even if it took more than hour to breach the door them being there in 15 minutes had a big effect on what he did.
