Eiruv
« on: November 28, 2017, 07:41:31 AM »
Was wondering if an Eiruv is considered a legit wall why can it not be used in Shul between Men-Women...It cannot be an issue of seeing the ladies because there are plenty of 100% Kosher Mechitza with seeing 50% of the Women.

Am eiruv is a boundary,  not a wall.

It is supposed to be like a fence (hence the non-jews issue of feeling closed in)

No it's not. It's supposed to be a boundary not a fence.

And you dont need a wall between men and women. You need a separation.

That's not entirely true a glass wall won't suffice (according to most) opinions for a mechitzah but it will suffice as a eiruv

100% of the poskim who allow a minimal hilchos mechitza separation of 10t high say it's good.

That’s no way to talk about a woman who was this close to becoming president >:(
Please don’t bring that crap into this thread.
