how did it fry so fast?
So...Bad news. The Motherboard apparently was completely fried.... Taking along of it too much of my data that was not properly backed up The store "fixe" the phone within 2 hours.
Funny, I had to bake my wife's G4 on 550° F for 45 minutes to get it to boot for about 24 hours so I could recover the data off it..Anyways, sorry for your loss. It's very upsetting to lose personal data...
Woah, why did that help?
What's that supposed to mean?
Why didn't you just place it into a pan and fry it?
It's called reflowing, basically resoldiers all the connections
not with the temperature and time you used. Also there is no way to do that and still get the warranty.
I didn't do anything.
Sorry, I missed these posts. Basically, @yitrap is right. http://www.techradar.com/news/phone-and-communications/mobile-phones/lg-finally-acknowledges-g4-boot-loop-problem-and-it-s-offering-a-fix-1313769Also all G4s eventually had this issue where they would constantly boot loop. At that time, only Sprint (not even LG-they still release phones that are essentially still in beta) acknowledged the issue and would exchange it for you on the spot. However, my wife had data on the phone that for some reason, wasn't backed up. So, a common solution was to take apart the phone and bake the motherboard on 550° for 45 minutes to resolder the connection, at least for a few hours, so the data can be recovered. I'll upload some pics soon.
wow.
Don't ever buy LG. Every single phone I bought, for myself or family member, eventually died. And they have tons of crazy bugs that shouldn't be in a release product. At least, I managed to save the data.
Guys bottom line what is better the iPhone 8 or s8?
