Couldn't find English version.

Seems like main reason is that Haifa airport shuts down at 8pm, which forces diversion to LLBG in cases of delays. Article also cites new route to FCO as a reason, with TUS assigning aircraft previously used for Israel routes to FCO route.

Darn!!

Though recently I read that there is a legit plan to expand the runways and start offering some real international flights from Haifa...The airport is all of 5 minutes from my house....
