Are you smarter than a 1st grader?

Anyone who does homework with their kids has experienced the feeling of ineptitude at some point, especially with the new way they teach math. Today my daughter came home with the pictured question and I couldnt figure it out.
See if you can get this one right.

The ‘p’ is uppercase suggesting it’s a name (see ‘bell’ below which is all in lowercase). I would hazard a guess that the correct answer is the girl
