Can't deny that, but from May-November it's beautiful. Much less hot/humid than the east coast/texas.
And no big city pressures, crime, or traffic jams.

If it's anything like Kansas City right across the state it gets even colder than CLE in the winter and the summers are absolutely brutal. And tornadoes to boot.

My brother is a rabbi in Dallas -works at the boys high school. From my take on the community there are two sides of town the more yeshivish side and the more relaxed side - which is a smaller community but where the houses are alot cheaper and its beautiful. All the kosher restaurants and schools are on the less yeshivish side also (bc its less expensive presumably) Here's his number if you have any questions I am sure he'll be glad to help but he left NY to go teach 3 years ago and he loves it. I find it to be extremely pleasant and friendly when i go to visit.

@mringelheim,
U can't really bring a proof from your brother enjoying it in dallas, his wife is from there and he had been there many a summers before he decided to move there. I am not saying its a bad place I am just saying put everything in its proper perspective.
