actually just got off a call with them as well. They called us. Spent about 15 min and got nowhere. Only was willing to offer j which i refused to accept. She wasn't giving me much attitude, it was more the other way around.. I asked for her supervisor to call me but doubt that will happen. Im awfully curious how this all plays out if we all refused to be accommodated in J
The whole situation is really screwed up. Aeroplan can't afford to rebook everyone in F and even booking people into J is going to cost them an insane amount of money. It doesn't make any sense for them to take the fall for this, when they did absolutely nothing wrong, and for LX to get away with illegally canceling everyone's tickets. LX doesn't lose very much by allowing the tickets to stand anyway and it's they're system that allowed the tickets to go to inventory. I really think Matthew should be taking the fight to LX as apposed to AC as AC is doing, all things considered, a respectable job trying to accommodate everyone.
I still haven't heard what any other *A airline that had a ticket booked through them has done about the situation, does anyone know?
