Isn't it only $3 on the first order because of the 50% off? I think it's normally $6 each. Don't forget to include the $6 delivery fee in your calculations.

Maybe. The most expensive piece is the pitcher, and I'm already on my 3rd one in 3 years. (Needed a larger one, broke one.) Also the convenience of the 5 gallons has to be a factor.

Just got off the phone with Nestle Ready Refresh which bought Poland Spring which bought Water Boy (our first water delivery company from back in 2002).

Rates this month are going up to 9.99 a bottle for 5 gal bottle plus 5.99 per order delivery charge. (Home delivery to West Hempstead).

The customer service rep said that she can lower the rate to 9.49 per bottle but no lower.

Looking for alternative source for home delivery, other than lugging it home from the supermarket where its 6.99 a bottle, but I will need to transport it myself.

I just called the phone number on the Costco website and it brought me to DS Water who can deliver Crystal Springs at 6.99/bottle. It is not through Costco even though I called the Costco number because there is no Costco water delivery service in my neighborhood. Works out to be an extra 50 cents per bottle (Costco website has pricing at 6.49 per bottle) but its still 3.00 per bottle cheaper than Nestle/Poland Spring.

I consider bottled water a necessity in 5T, not a luxury. I have been using poland spring but now that they increased their prices I may switch.
