Does anyone know if starwood would match platinum status fron Priority Club Platinum? When I call starwoods, they said they only match from Hilton Mariott, and Hyatt highest tier. Just wondering if that's realy true.... Any other info the other way around (matching FROM Starwood Platinum to others) please post!

Anyone know how to status match from SPG gold to Hilton gold?
Also, my wife has a Hilton CC in her name and I am an additional. If I pay with my credit card, will the points show up in my Hilton account?

They wont match from PC.

I believe the additional card is linked to the same Hilton account as the primary so all the points will go to that one.

2 questions:

1) Does anyone know if hyatt would match status from PC platinum? I saw reports (from a long time ago) that some were successful in getting Hyatt diamond by doing so.

2) When they ask for a copy of your statement, would a chain even consider a match if you dont have any qualifying stays? For example, if Hyatt would give me diamond from my PC platinum, could i then use my hyatt diamond and match to SPG platinum? I dont have any qualifying stays with any program. I earned PC plat from various promos and always use points when staying at hotels.

I don't think SPG or Hyatt currently matches PC, but YMMV.

my problem is that virgin wont send me a membership card. on their website it verifies me as gold, but they wont send me a card for some reason.
any other ways to get a card or get continental to match?

A Hyatt rep. (in China) told me I could send her a copy of my plat PC along with a statement they will match me to Diamond.
(In the end I didn't need it cause I got enough nights before the 15 nights promo ended (Thanks Dan... ;) ))
Try calling Hyatt in China and ask...
