It does appear as if you contacted us previously on the same issue and I responded to you.

As previously advised, we would not be able to honor the promotion as this is for new cardholders, you had a Starwood Preferred Guest Credit Card back in May 2008. If this was your first Starwood Card I would have honored the promotion (as a one time courtesy), but because you had one previously we would not be able to honor the promotion.

I hope you understand our position in this matter.

As everyone says YMMV but I was told by more than one rep that since I had the card for more than 2 years I was eligible to get the signup bonus again. It seems to me that their only problem here is that they are still under the impression that this was a targeted offer.

The 10,000 Starpoints for your first purchase are issued within 12 weeks of making the purchase. You should be able to view these points within the next week. Also, I have now issued the 20,000 Starpoints for meeting the spend threshold of $4,500.00 within the first three months of Cardmembership. You should be able to view these 20,000 points in your Starwood account within the next 3-5 business days.

I sent just yesterday a message to Courtney, and this is what i got back today.

( I actually applied for the card b4 there was the 30K offer, but it took them a long time to issue the card, so i tried my luck, and it worked b"h)

I don't think so, but the last 2 years, the offer was released in the summer, so if you wait, maybe it'll come back.
