Isn’t this so-called anti-Semitic judge the one who reversed the decision and gave him bail? Wasn’t her sentence with in federal guidelines?
1) Yes.
2) Read the above links and the briefs written in support of Rubashkin.
A) Even if technically within the guidelines, they went against the spirit of the guidelines, as stated by the very people who wrote them and common sense. Using the "guidelines" as cover is disingenuous at best.
B) The charges were inflated artificially in numerous ways purely to game the guidelines and get the inhumane sentence. Again, read the links above to see how. An honest judge would see through that.
C) She gave a longer sentence than even the prosecution asked for, which I believe was a couple of years beyond the guidelines. She has done the same for many other defendants.
Again, I personally don't know that there is evidence *she* is an anti semite. There is plenty of evidence she is a terrible judge.
