Interesting thread!

Aren't cars more expensive in Canada than in the US? In Quebec, I know that people do the opposite they import cars from the states because it is a lot cheaper there. Maybe in Ontario it is cheaper. I don't know.
More expensive, but the CAD is very weak now. And if you can avoid paying sales tax - that's the kicker

Depends on exchange rate.  Price of cars in both countries stays pretty much on same trajectory, while the buying power of usd to cad has fluctuatedone over past 20 years

This. In 2013 when the exchange rate was nearly par, everyone was talking about doing the other way. Taxes got in the way. But it's much more favorable in this direction regarding taxes

That's the standard LE model, no leather seats.
You can go to Toyota.com and figure out which model you want and I can get you a quote.

Thanks, do all Canadian cars show speed in both kilometers and miles?Do you think when time to sell in the US this will lower resale price?

Shows both. You can change the digital read to miles.
Don't know, but I don't think so

Like I said, for used, you're probably better off doing it yourself.
For new, it all depends on what you would pay in the states to determine how much you'd save. Again, I gave a quote on an LE, if you want a quote on a different model I'm happy to get it for you.

Is it really worth it on a used car? How much would you have to be spending to make it worth it?

I doubt it's worth it. I have a friend who just bought a 2014 Sienna for around $25K CAD. Is that that much cheaper than you can find it in the states? Probably not
