There's a hechsher on the bottom right corner.
Eta-Seems you need a hechsher.

There's no need for a hechsher.

Actually, most rabbanim say that parchment paper DOES need a hechscher.  That being said, these have an OU.

Wow did not know that, thanks for correcting my mistake.

Wow didn't know there's a huge process to make parchment paper and wax paper...

Thank you all. Yes, there is a hechsher needed as the paper is treated with a waxy substance that lets you remove the cookies without them sticking to the sheet.

And with the way my AC makes cookies, you dont want to miss a crumb. :)

Three bets you aren't the one that bakes in your house  ;)
The plus of these is that they fit a cookie sheet perfectly, worth spending extra money to me.

I'm sure you have a taxi pick up your kids to take them to school instead of you taking them in your car as that would be valuable time which you wouldn't want to lose?

On a serious note an average loaf pan/ cookie pan fits a regular piece of parchment paper after cutting it off from the roll with the metal blade from the box.

Until you smell burning because the piece was too long, or it's too short and then you have more dishes to wash because the pan ended up getting dirty.

Spending money for convenience makes a lot of sense to me, so long as you can afford it.  I'm afraid i can't afford taxis on a regular basis.

In this case, you're not spending that much extra money - sure it's a large % difference, but not so much in absolute dollars.

Lets put this in context. Its 22 sheets for less than $2.40 so each sheet is less than 11 cents.

How much cheaper would it be if you cut down a roll from Costco?

I agree with norma, why spend the effort to save a nickel or so per sheet...especially since the downside would be having to work to clean a burnt cookie tray.

We could sit and cut TP rather than buying Kleenex for Shabbos and save about 30-40 cents per Shabbos. But isn't it nice not to have to do that every Friday?

And lets not forget MYI - happy wife, happy life (Bava Metzia 59a-b has more serious expressions if you want to look them up.)

Just an estimate, this would cost around $0.78 from Costco.

I use parchment paper enough that I know how to cut it without starting a fire or having to clean the pan after. This probably saves 5 seconds of tearing at a cost of around 30 cents a tear. So around $3.60/minute or $216/hour.

But to each their own.

The Reynolds costs about 11 cents a sheet, how are you saving 30 cents each time you tear?
