hey all quick question i am in a fight with chase bank and they finally sold my debit now i can pay it of in full (chase lied to me many times and they admited it to me several times so i stopped paying and then try to reach a settlement with chase but the refused to budge) but i have been waiting for them to sell it so i can ask for a hefty discount the debit is 3700 1000 of which it late fee's and other fee's my real debit is about 2700 how much sof a discount should i ask for also what info if any do i need from them in regards to the credit bureaus

My guess is that they paid the same pennies on the dollar for the 1000 as the 2700 so I don't think that will make a difference to them, (meaning they bought the whole thing and don't care that 1000 is fees which you dispute).

ok but say the paid 30 cents to the dollar which is a very high amount that means it cost them about 510ish? what kind of discount can i ask for and what about all the bad stuff on my credit report

my credit was destroy threw identity theft as is so for a few thousand it wount make much of a dif since its all being cleaned up now this is the last remaining thing left to deal with i still have all the good cards and stuff with high credit so i am not to worried i just need advice dan any help would be awesome

no it was a fight with chase bank over about 3k so i figured i would just not pay since it was not valid and now i need help with regards to what kind of discount to ask for and what to do with regards to reporting to the crediting agencys

from i read if i settle with them direct it will fix things but i need to neg with the debit collectors and go back to them and say this is what they offer and hope the match it rather then lose so much money
