Can't wait to see the PE competition filling in on the NY - TLV routes. El Al should not be getting away with $2100+ starting prices in the winter. (not only the competition, but the added capacity itself should do the trick...)

What's the lowest it can/will go for in your opinion? AF/BA are around $1,400-$1,500.

Many, many years until EWR-TLV sees something like this.

I believe they started at $1549 when it was introduced. But that quickly jumped as there is only 28 seats daily on the route, and there is BIG demand for it. Hopefully this will change when more capacity comes with additional Dreamliners, and the likelihood of DL changing the route to a a350 over the next year (just my own prediction), and eventually UA....

Lets say they'll have it on a new 777, why can't they swap planes?

It's starting on new 787-10 deliveries. Nothing for 777 for years.

And how do you know they won't be putting in a 787-10 on the TLV route anytime soon?

Even the 787-10? I believe that the 787-10 can have equal or more capacity than the 77W. CMIIW

what a chutzpeh. actually since they raised the price its not that busy. i've seen P class open up a quite a few days. I believe they will be lowering the price soon. Just a Yidishe Mideh to up the price on something you see there is demand... They are not trying to be professional here....

FTFY
No reason to blame Judaism. That's part of business. It doesn't mean I like seeing them getting away with it. I'd love to see competition coming...

Maybe that's because of the added capacity. But P class is currently $2100 for the winter:
