Are you that naive? This happens with most merchants all the time - they didn't anticipate hitting their "cap" so quickly, standard stuff

Take it down a notch buddy... I have been buying these sorts of deals for years.. Other retailers will just put the item out of stock or not available. In staples case they left the item up at full price... and at the same time they were sending out emails with this deal that no longer existed. My point was simply that they could have handled it better.

I did. They said that even though there's no raincheck for this promo, when it goes back in stock I should contact them and they'll reinstate my order.
