Right, because the agencies always get sufficiently competent mashgichim...
So if agencies that have staff and experience in managing mashgichim have a hard time getting it right, you expect a one man operation to do a better job?
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

Is he involved in kashrus all year or only pesach? Does he do affairs in hotels during the year?

While I happen to know this Rav Hamachshir personally, anything I am writing here about this is not directed at him specifically or at this program, but rather at the concept of hiring an individual Rav that does this as one of his occupations, rather than doing these kinds of things full time, especially when it's a one man operation. But let the experts with more experience chime in on this.

Resources. Equipment and/or personnel.

I am sure people with more inside knowledge about running Pesach programs and hashgocho can chime in with better details of what would be needed to do things.
how do you know he doesn't have Personnel or equipment? I personally own almost all the equipment I could ever need to kasher. (Missing an indoor use boiling water pressure washer-$2300)
Regarding personnel, usually only the Rav hamachshir is advertised l, not the head Mashgiach and crew. I was a head Mashgiach for a few years and no one ever saw my name

I wouldn't have an issue as long as he is experienced in food service in hotels. Many who work for organizations go on their own pesach and do a great job. He just needs to make sure to hire a good team (not so just but doable)

As I said, I will inquire more about this after Shabbos.

I believe this is the case here. He often works for other organizations.

Well, here's another program: https://ffhpesach.com/

Seems to cater to a specific crowd. And while the Rav Hamachshir is rather experienced, not so sure if he's organizationally qualified for such an undertaking. Kashrus of such a program is not a one man show, even when you have a cooperative crowd and organizers.

Though there are a few interesting twists here:

From the website: Proceeds benefitting: United Lubavitcher Yeshivoth Mesivta (The Feldman's are truly amazing people!)
You should know better than make assumptions like that, that's how baseless rumors get started.

Until you've personally spoken to him hold your tongue.

You are right.

I really regret posting whatever I did post here. And since mods didn't oblige when I asked for it to be deleted, I am publicly coming clean.

Whatever I posted, even if 100% accurate, definitely does not belong under any title that reads False Advertising.

While I didn't (yet) get to speak to said Rav Hamachshir, I did speak to his son who is also a good friend. He told me that his father actually hires someone who specializes in Kashering kitchens to do the kashering. He tries to keep the standards as high as possible (כנהוג אצל אנ"ש דליובאוויטש) in a public setting, but obviously it can never be as one would have in their own home. Many people that do care call him up with specific questions before Pesach, to make sure they are comfortable with the standards. Apparently a person once asked him during Pesach if Garlic was used (many in Lubavitch don't use it, without a טעם), and was upset to find out that the answer was in the affirmative. Someone must have not cared so much about standards to ask in advance, but might have cared that ס'פאסט ניט at some point on Chol Hamoed.

What's with these speakers. They go free? Or get paid separate for their services?
