Ramada Resort Hadera Israel
« on: January 31, 2018, 01:42:34 AM »
We’re here now. $65+3k per night for a suite.  Key thing is they allow 4, and maybe 5 adults per room.   Will post room pics later, but here are breakfast pics (included with points booking). Delicious. Rabbanut, I think.

Cool! Can you get more than one bed in the room?

How full/empty is the hotel?  This one seems a little off the beaten path for locals and tourists alike.

Why is Hadera off the beaten track for locals? It seems like a nice beach town. Either way, is it advisable for Shabbos?

Hotel claims there's a beit knesset and every room has 2 beds in it. Can anyone confirm that?

Hi, just finished dinner at Crave. Again, it is my favorite restaurant,
bar none.

Took us 90 minutes this am to get to Jlem this am.

We went to Zikhron Yaakov for lunch yesterday — 20 minutes.

I went for a walk along the beach this am — not the most picturesque beach or the most suitable for walking.  There is outdoor pool — closed in winter.

There is indoor pool and jacuzzi — both getting use. The fitness center is decent. Machines a little worn but functional. Better than average treadmills.

There apparently is a beit Knesset. I tried to check it out this am but it was locked.  Presume they have a sefer? I will try To confirm.

I do think all rooms have two beds. Actually, we have a “kosher” king bed and a sofa bed, which is also kosher (split). I suspect if you had 5 or 6 people they would get you rollaway.

I think the stairways don’t have motion sensors. Will try to confirm.  Presume they have a Shab elevator.

I agree it is kind of out of the way.  Would be good if you wanted to spend a few days exploring the north. We are going to Tsfat tomorrow.   We are not staying for Shabbat but I would come back again for it.

The last picture was a make your own granola counter and other cereals and jams. Mmmmm

From what I can tell, there is nothing interesting to do within a km walk of the property.  I was kind of hoping it had a Naharia-like village because it sort of feels like it should. Like it should have little shops and cafes.   I didn’t see any.

So what's the thing toward the top of the picture with the hexagonal (ie honeycomb) shapes?

Gofast is excluded. It's not an "eligible" rate.

Darn on the "499"!! The rate was unbeatable and the breakfast was amazing there. I stayed there Chanuka and we had a sefer torah and a nice size minyan as well. I thought for the price of under USD $100 it was awesome!
