What are the best debit cards for ATM withdrawals in Europe or Israel?

Schwab doesn't charge foreign exchange fees and offers unlimited ATM fee reimbursement. They require a brokerage account to open a checking account, but you don't actually have to fund the brokerage account.

Thanks. What type of account is required? Is there a minimum balance to avoid any account fees? How does it compare to Charles Schwab or Capital One 360?

Regular checking. Minimum balance is $250 or $7 monthly fee.

This is wrong there is no minimum for the Schwab checking account

Looks like Schwab requires a minimum $1,000 in a linked brokerage account to avoid any account fees. It seems like Capital One 360 has no such minimum to avoid fees, although Schwab rebates ATM owner surcharges.

I think you mistaken with TD's minimum, regular checking account is $200 min.

Unless they changed it recently, I had a regular checking account and used it in Israel.
