Could people add specific airports that have specific issues, like lga that makes you take a bus to a shuttle to get to youre car rental company, rather that the standard walk/shuttle to the rental car area

What does this mean; how does this work?
I believe he's referring to the Centurion card. It gives you Hertz platinum, which basically means when you need something, they're at your service.

In DFW Hertz drove me back to the terminal after returning. I'm PC, but don't think the random car parker guy knew that. He offered, I did not request.

+1 Isn't that specifically what a shuttle does?

Anyone know of a parking lot in PHL that would drive you and pick you up in your car on return?

If its off-site (shuttle required) like DTW, I go pick up the car and swing back around to pick everyone up.
At MCO where the lot is an elevator down and across the street, we make our way with all suitcases etc.

not at all. Most airport hotel shuttles run on a schedule to the airport and back. It is not easy to get them to drop/pick up  somewhere else.

If you're late for a flight they can do valet return in your car...if they want to.

Never knew that.

Thanks

I've had many airport locations do it for me many times. Depends how nice you are and a tip definitely helps

And we have DP.

The Black card ( aka Centurion card ) is the best Amex CC out there. Initial cost is around 10k, but may be worth it for it's benefits.

It's an invitation only card, that has never been confirmed what triggers the invitation.

Pretty sure high spending is the key trigger.

Many DDFers have spent 10s of millions on CCs and nothing....

TPG I believe credited his Invite to that, and it seems like that elsewhere, I can't answer why others haven't gotten an invite.

I'm sure its a factor...but obviously not the only one.

Amex reportedly extends invitations to apply for the business card only if you’ve spent (and paid off) at least $450,000 (or $500,000 — we’ve heard both) across all your Amex accounts in a calendar year. For the personal card, the bar is set around $350,000. Note that these amounts aren’t officially confirmed, and just because you spend enough and have good standing across accounts doesn’t mean you’ll automatically be invited to apply. Part of the exclusivity of the Centurion Card is that there’s a secret formula behind who gets invited.

Correct, however...
Many DDFers have spent 10s of millions on CCs and nothing....
I personally know someone that spends $9,000,000 annually ( legit, no MS) on Amex and has tried everything to get the card to no avail.

And the person that does have it spent less when he got the card...

I find it highly doubtful that the return guy at the MIA or FLL car return centers would be permitted to just leave their posts and drive a customer to the terminal, unless that’s a specific benefit provided by a black Card or Chairman which I guess is an elevated points status.
I've done it many times with Hertz and National.

They usually call over one of the guys cleaning the cars to drive you back.
