I do not think that Judaism would allow non-jews to be organ donors either but am not certain about that. If it is considered to be killing the donor when harvesting the organ I don't see how whether the donor is Jewish or not makes a difference.

I haven't read through this whole thread yet. But I've had discussions about this many times with people. I don't quite know why we can't give organs but we can get organs.

It actually came up recently with a question of if one was in the hospital and needing an organ and then one came about from a Jewish Organ donor would people refuse it?

Because it is the harvesting process which is the issue. Once you are past that process it may as well be used.
