My question is this promotion is only 3x per person. Can they link it to me if I use the same my bb rewards number on two orders

obviously technically they could link it however best buy generally bases on cancelations on the email address used so as long as it is a different email address it shouldn't be canceled.  But as someone else said it may be best not use your best buy rewards as you can see what happened to others and the deal is still decent even if you don't get rewards for it

Nah, I think its the volume they are after. I would do max 2-3 GC buys per BB account.

you could try that however often best Buy will cancel orders made from a new account if you open an account and start making big orders

I'm talking about completely shutting down your account, and I think too many GC purchases under the same reward number is what caused it. I have other accounts with many TE purchases using GC's, and I had no issues with those.

They tend to shut down the account that was used to purchase GC that are later used for TE purchases.

GC wasn't used with this account. Got shut down on purchasing alone. All other GC purchases up to this deal did not have BB rewards added.

Had very few, maybe from a visa card purchase I don't remember. Then it had many points pending from lots of GC purchases, then it was shut down.

This is very complicated, and I don't think there is a simple solution. I don't think this has anything to do with the gift cards, Best Buy will always be strict. The most widely accepted way to get orders through is, having different accounts, with a new credit card and phone number for each. Never double them up. Certain items always trigger cancellations, so make your orders smaller as if you have one such item the whole thing will be canceled. Space out your orders out as well, wait for them to go into preparing stage before ordering again.

are you ordering more than the official limit cause maybe that is what is triggering it and it has nothing to do with the gift cards

FWIW I definitely got the feel that these GCs were giving me more cancelation issues vs regular ones. I can't confirm it either as there are always multiple factors but I definitely had that thought. I ended up going in store to deal with them.
