with social media and texting the bullying is happening all the time and there is no reprieve from the constant assault.

Something to be said for keeping kids away from the technology and if not that at least from the social media aspect of it. My kids dont have social media accounts.

Same could be said for the schools, no? The better you are at what you do the more successful you will be over time. Of course its not 100% but you have to do your best to raise those odds.

100% agree and we don't even know if this boy had social media
just saying that it is a factor in todays problem

aslo at certain ages it is hard to keep kids away from the technology in todays world.

When bullying happens, there becomes somewhat a mob mentality. So other, non-true-bullies, join in to torment the victim. 'Bullying awareness' helps stop the ganging up part of it.

its not so easy for every kid to fight back especially if it is not physical bullying

Standing up to a bully can help but can also feed the bully. Also, if you stand up to him and lose the child will feel even more hopeless and will get bullied even more and other kids will also view him a loser.
