NYC Health Insurance

I have choice of insurances, just wondering what people who work for the city choose, GHI CBP Basic...? 

We can be part of DC 37 Union which provide dental/vision/prescription drugs, is the prescription coverage better through them or through GHI which where I would have to pay a little extra to get the prescription coverage?

Any other tips would be great, we are new to this (NYC, Union....).

We have GHI CBP with no rider and are very satisfied. Whether you should take the prescription rider will depend on what the union plan offers. We're under the CSBA (part of Local 237) and their coverage has been excellent.

What agency are you in?

TRS. I think we are DC-37?
