DDF DO: JFK Runway Run Edition

Anyone from DDF planning on running (or walking) the 5K JFK Runway Run?

This year it is going to be on Sunday, April 15th.

Registration costs $25 per person, includes t-shirt, refreshments and entry to airline ticket raffle.

Great plane spotting from right on the runway.

From a guy I know who did it a few years ago:
Did that 2 years ago, it's a cool novelty event but it was not well organized and in general was more of a pain in the a**.
Still no medal, 15 min bus ride to and from the start, you have to get there like an hour early, in general not a good experience and to big of a hassle for a 5k.
The fact that it's on a runway is cool until you realize how much it sucks to run in a straight line 1.5 miles with zero view.
