JC what most frum people do. I work for a frum company and they expect us to come in. Is that true for most frum companies out there? Regular Yom Tov is considered an off day. We do have work on Chol Hamoed.

Hell no. Frum company. Probably closed shushan this year as well.

Many of our locations are open until 2/3 pm on Purim. Msut open after 8am to ensure megillah for everyone. We have 4 locations open all day on Purim out of necessity

When ever I hear of a frum Owner make his workers come in on chol hamoed it irks me! I mean if B&H could be closed so could almost everyone! (Besides Drs, groceries, restaurants,and most hardware stories)

We are off yomim tovim but have work chol hamoed and Tisha b'av.

I scheduled a doctor's appointment for early morning so I will get a sick day. Then I have the whole day to recover.

While you are right. It is a very hard nisayon for a business owner to pass up on a days worth of income. Especially if they are struggling financially.
