Is my printer toast?
« on: December 25, 2012, 11:07:32 PM »
My canon pixma seems to have a tiny paper jam in the feeder.  I cannot get it or even to it.  Has anyone taken these apart and is it worth my trouble?  Thanks.

try a tweezers or manually running thru the feeder cardstock paper - sometimes it can push out the jammed papers

How do I force the card stock through?

push it gently thru the feeder going the same direction the paper would usually go

i know this is a very old thread but didnt want to open a new one.... Trying to print out sheets on my canon pixma. i keep on getting paper tray empty messages despite the tray being full. there are no jams that i know of and one out of every ten attempts or so goes thru. tried cleaning rollers too. any suggestions appreciated

I don't have any advice for you but I have the same problem with a brother printer.... the tray is full and it only prints when i manually feed paper...
I could also use some suggestions.
