I  just applied and received the card last week for the first time UNDER THE 60K WITH $49 FEE 1K spend -- I do not have a copy of the t/c I applied under --did it state  free night at "any" IHG or just "free night "

if I will get the restricted free night - think better to ask Chase to match the better offer of 80k with the higher fee

You applied for 60k? What does that have with free night? And when you say higher fee, do you mean spend?

IHG had a few different offers --

I DID THE---60k points with $49 fee and 10% back on points spent plus one free night on the anniversary at any ihg -$49 fee -- 1k spend

also, they offered -- same as above with various amount of points as a sign-up

they now have 80k and I think $89 or 99 fee  but the restricted free night and 2k spend

I've been busy and haven't had too much time to read. Just to clarify--- Any night that is awarded before May will be good for ANY IHG until it expires, correct?
