Oh yeah. I still have the hood though, which can come in handy when clearing snow from the sidewalk on a cold day.

So we have a coat that doesn't fit the specs, one that doesn't exist anymore (or at least not for a few months), and a generic one I can get locally that I didn't want to replace.

Not exactly shocking that it's hard to find a good coat in April.....try Australia

It's not hard to find because it's April. It's hard to find all year round. A men's knee-length parka is for some reason a rare item online. Maybe it's changed but every winter for the past 3-4 years I have looked and never found anything close to what I was looking for.

It's totally sexist. There's a million choices in women's full length coats.

I want real down/feather. The best coat I ever owned was the lands end. Nothing else ever came close. The one I posted is OK, bit that's it.

Sounds like a good opportunity for someone to jump into making...
Though I've used my LLB with an underlayer of a Kapota on Shabbos or a North Face in Svalbard and it's always toasty no matter what the conditions outside.

I grabbed a $60 topcoat from https://www.dansdeals.com/shopping-deals/apparel-deals/clothing/save-70-off-jos-bank-clearance-sale-wool-cashmere-scarves-5-38-suits-58-20-dress-coats-41-99/ figuring that ... at the utter worst, I'm out $60. They had a nice navy full-length in my size. No hood, but ... $60.

Top coats are not hard to find. It's full length parkas for men that are hard to find.

I emailed LLB asking about the coat and it's discontinued. I was able to find someone selling one on ebay marked as new/return for $100 and bought it. Can someone who owns one of these tell me how heavy they are, or how stuffed they are? The coat seems very thin to me, though maybe that's how it's designed. I understand it's not a puffy coat but how much bulk is it supposed to have?

Want to make sure I got an authentic coat and it's tough to tell by wearing it outside right now
