No way to know. Of course don't buy ones with strip removed.

you could buy as many as you want in one transaction and it will take the purchase fee off all of them. obviously ymmv on the store if they let you purchase more than one. it takes a long time for the system to activate the cards when there are a lot in one transaction.
Im curious to know what people here say to the cashier when they ask you "why do you need so many gcs?"

lol. we shouldve made a DO there. the guy told me he definitely sold a lot of mastercard gcs this week. i wonder why. he pulled out a package and said i cant buy more than 2k...
