Yea, in hindsight a few things wouldn't have worked with that plan, but I did have most of it planned out. Worked just fine the way I did it. Yes, first TR. Was sitting in front of my computer last night, and decided to throw it together.
Definitely nice. A great read. Looking forward to some more.
I'll tell you later

I can't even imagine breaking the news like that to my wife without having a solid intiarery...

Just wondering what was the mood after the attack? And what effect did it have on your experience?

I guess our wives are very different
It did seem a bit more solemn there, but aside from the Jewish places being closed, and the pre airport checkpoint, it really had no real effect on our trip.

Must of been your specific waiter, did not feel that way when I was there.

Thanks for writing it up - nice report!

Do I get an even bigger prize for finding you in a different picture? ::) Brought back nice memories from my trip a few years ago. Man, we loved Maccabi (and didn't have waiter issues). It's also interesting how we only strolled La Ramblas once and didn't see the water at the end nor the zoo or the nice parks you've mentioned. I guess that's the difference when you plan activities vs. not. We were running around from the Jewish tour to Park Guell to seeing Gaudi architecture that we didn't explore things that may not have hit DDF Wiki / TripAdvisor top 10 lists. Will keep that in mind for future trips.

Thank you! Lol, DW noticed that pic too. If you walk all the way down LA Ramblas, and make a left, the zoo is about a 45 min walk. The parks are in the zoo area as well as the big arch. Did you stay at the W? The W is out on a strip of land in the water I mentioned.

Nope, 4P Sheraton Diagonal. And oh, that's quite a walk, not something you normally would accidentally happen upon.

We did a lot of walking this trip. Happens to be we just went to Israel in Jan, and through the week, we only took one bus and one cab. Maybe we're just walking people
